In the past two weeks BTI Wind Energy, founding member of the “Harvest the Wind Network” has helped the community of Greensburg Kansas solidify their initive to become the “Greenest City in America”! By installing Endurance E3120 (50kW) turbines for BTI Inc., the local John Deere Dealer, the new high school and a local agriculture producer, the folks in Greensburg continue to make history and save a bundle of money on electrical costs while doing it! “Each one of these turbines is on a different height or style of tower; combined with the very high winds in Western Kansas, making it a vitual wind energy lab.” said Andrew Trapanese, BTI Wind Energy’s Director of Project Development. BTI Wind Energy invites all interested parties to visit Greensburg and appreciate the new skyline!
