Haley N. Estes

Haley N. Estes is the Business Development and Marketing Director for BTI Wind Energy LLC. Her focus is working with the Dealer Network to help them start up their wind divisions through extensive marketing research and overall consulting through their division development. She concentrates on Business Development through extensive networking with organizations and groups lobbying to grow the United States incentives and net metering policies. In working with these groups and state officials her goal is to grow the market share of the Endurance Wind Turbine product to be the leader amongst any small wind segmented turbine. Among other duties are intranet development and management, order process coordination, marketing to internal network as well as the North American news media and Wind Specialist training and development. Her role is one of agility and as in any new Company, being flexible and able to work within any given situation is key to the success of the business.

Prior to her migrating back to the family business she worked at Careerbuilder.com as a Major Account Executive. After just 4 months she was promoted to a National Account Executive where she won multiple awards from Regional Rep of the Quarter (3 times), Rep of the Kansas City Marketplace and National Account Executive of the year, finishing first out of over 250 Account Executives. In her 7 years of corporate sales positions (ranging from Kansas City to selling in the south in Atlanta, GA to Madison Avenue in New York City) she has never fallen below 100% of her multimillion dollar quotas and has always finished amongst the top 5 of sales representative.

Haley earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies from The University of Kansas, and to this day one of her favorite past times is being an avid KU Basketball and Football fan (Rock Chalk Jayhawk)! Along with college sports, watching NASCAR, snow skiing, mountain biking, golfing, playing with her dog Wyatt and being a role model to her niece Kyndra, she enjoys traveling – most recently to Greece, Canada, Chile and the French Riviera. Giving back to the community and to her home state have always been her passion – chairing the BTI Tornado Relief fund a year ago May, she was able to secure temporary cars and completely furnish 12 homes for the victims in just 4 days after the storm. The aftermath of the storm has positively impacted her life by compelling her to do her part and educate others on the importance of conserving our environment. And now she is able to follow her dream of working with her family and her mentor, her father Kelly Estes everyday in the Family Business! A favorite quote of hers is by Mahatma Gandhi, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
