Andrew Trapanese

Andrew joined BTI Wind Energy LLC in September of 2009 as Director of Project Development. Andrew works across the dealership network and is responsible for improving project development infrastructure and process, providing training, and supporting the development of projects from sale through commissioning.

Andrew holds a B.S. in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana State University, and has more than 8 years of experience in entrepreneurship, process engineering, construction management, and small wind project development. Andrew has been involved with more than 40 small wind projects and has acted as the lead project manager on greater than 20 of them. From production analysis to climbing towers, Andrew is passionate about wind.

Born in Red Wing, MN Andrew grew up splitting his time between hockey skates, water skis, and his Red Wing boots. Andrew currently lives in Denver, CO with his wife, Erin, and dog, Teddy. When not devoting his time to wind, Andrew is skiing, hiking, running or biking with Erin, Teddy and friends.
